Parent and Spectator Code of Conduct


The support that you provide as a Parent and/or Spectator is vital your child’s success, development & enjoyment with playing. The support that you provide as a Parent and/or Spectator is vital to your child's success, development & enjoyment with playing competitive soccer. As well collectively as a whole it will to always rely on this support from you as a Parent/Spectator and that attitude towards your child, the team, coaches, referee, staff & ultimately the Academy that will keep our Philosophy at the forefront.


A Parent or Spectator attending all events at AK Soccer Academy is responsible to:

  1. Make every effort to learn the Laws of the Game

  2. Respect the decisions of the Game Official, abuse, of any kind,
    will not be tolerated.

  3. Always be positive and encourage all players to participate, do not criticize players, the team and/or coaching staff from either academy.

  4. Never use foul or abusive language at any time.

  5. Ensure that the facility in use is in the same condition as it was prior to your arrival.

  6. Refrain from coaching any player during a game, understand that there is a philosophy within our Academy and also there could be a coaching decision or a style of play that the coach or Academy is working on.

  7. Remain a respectable distance from playing area, during both training and games.

  8.  Respect the coaching staff’s decision to not play players that are deemed unfit to play this could mean injured, not in control of one’s emotions or just not following direction/being respectful of coaches, referees, opposing teams’ players or their own.

  9. Avoid argumentative and disrespectful behavior towards any Player, Parent, Official, Team Official or any team.

  10. Help players by setting a good example of appropriate & responsible behaviour. One that’s encouraging & positive.

  11. Parents, Players and Spectators are to refrain from using profanity and vulgar language at any sanctioned AKSA event.

 

AK Soccer Academy has the right to suspend any Parent/ Spectator if they act in a manner that is deemed to be negative, derogatory, offensive or physically or emotionally harmful including violence of any kind. Keep in mind that continued violation of the above guidelines could result in disciplinary action up to & including
removal of your player from the Academy.
